A trio of games

TRS 8, Randolph 7: A Mitch Dressing two-run single in the bottom of the seventh helped propel TR South to a scrimmage victory over the Rams on Saturday afternoon. Dressing, who also pitched two strong innings, ripped a one-out single up the middle to help the Indians come from behind. Randolph mounted a rally in the top of the seventh to overcome a 6-2 deficit as they took advantage of two young TRS pitchers.

Bayonne 2, TRS 1: The Indians wasted a good pitching outing from senior righty Marco Carballo and junior righthander Rich Gabriel as they fell to the Bees. Bayonne turned two key double plays, including one with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh to snuff out two TRS rallies.

TRS 5, Lakewood 5: The Indians tied the Piners after overcoming a 5-1 deficit in a rainy, damp contest. South good great pitching from sophomore righty Chris McKenna, who started, and from junior lefty Kyle Fox and senior righty Kevin Knowles, who came in after Lakewood did the damage with four runs in the third inning.
