TR South 5, Midd. South 1: The Indians overcame a 1-0 deficit in the bottom of the 6th inning as they scored five runs to move past the Eagles and win their fourth straight scrimmage.
Senior shortstop Tyler Gebler lifted a three-run homer onto the roof in right-centerfield and senior left fielder Kevin Gilmore followed it up with solo shot to the roof in straight away centerfield to give the Indians an insurmountable lead.
Sophomore Mitch Dressing pitched a scoreless inning of relief to earn the win. Dressing helped his own cause, starting the sixth inning rally with a double to left-centerfield.
South hosts Freehold Township tomorrow at 3:45 p.m.
