TR South 11, Freehold Twp 10: After pushing out to an 8-0 lead, the Indians had to scrape in the sixth and seventh innings for a come-from-behind victory.
Senior Marco Carballo was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to give the Indians the victory in the bottom of the 7th of what proved to be a sloppy, high scoring game.
Senior Joe Patterson had an RBI triple earlier for the Indians. Dan Davis had a two-run single. Tyler Gebler was 3 for 4 with an RBI and Kyle Perry added two hits for South. Gebler also pitched two scoreless innings to start the contest for the Indians. In the second inning, Gebler struck out the side.
South hosts Lakewood on Thursday, CBA on Friday and a double header on Saturday featuring Randolph and Bayonne.
