Another good offensive performance
TR South 15, Ferris 2: The Indians rolled to another preseason win as they put up a ton of runs.
Senior third baseman Evan Bigler started the outburst, drilling a two-run homer in the bottom of the second inning and giving South a 2-1 lead.
After Ferris tied at 2-2, South recorded 7 runs in the bottom of the third. A Casey Chant single made it 7-2 and gave the Indians a commanding lead. Other offensive stars included Rick Petrosino (triple), Joe Talerico (2B) and Mark Perry (3B).
Senior lefty Jared Tramutola earned the win on the mound, pitching a strong third, fourth and fifth innings. Other key TRS pitchers included Joe Talerico, Scott Potter and Tyler Gebler.
