Need to finish...

TR East 9, TR South 3: The Indians rolled for five innings, but couldn't finish the deal as the fell to the Raiders & Casey Gaynor at TR East.

The Indians (1-1, 0-1) blew the game in the bottom of the sixth as East took advantage of many South errors to blow the game open. South starter Marc Potter threw a strong four and one-third innings to stake the Indians to a 2-1 lead. Freshman Tyler Gebler came in and kept it close as East scored on an error to tie the game in the bottom of the fifth, before a Mark Perry double for TRS put South back up 3-2 in the top of the sixth.

After allowing the Raiders to tie it in the bottom of the sixth, Gebler was replaced by junior Joe Talerico who was the victim of many TRS errors.

Offensive stars for the Indians included Steve Wagenhoffer (RBI double in the first), Jared Tramutola (two for three with a double) and Perry.

South will travel to Jackson on Thursday for their next Shore Conference Class A South contest before leaving for Florida on Sunday.
