TRS 3, Lacey 2

TR South 3, Lacey 2 (10 inn): Sophomore catcher Dan Scheller sacrifice fly in the top
of the 10th scored junior second baseman Mike Coon with the go ahead runs as the Indians earned the extra inning victory over the host Lions.Senior right hander Tyler Gebler (3-2) came on in the bottom of the ninth to induce a ground ball and then worked the 10th for the victory. Junior lefty Andy McGee was one pitch away from a 2-1 win when Lacey shortstop D'Addario hit a solo homer to left in the bottom of the seventh with two-outs to tie the game. McGee had given up only two hits at that point, striking out 10 in the first seven and walking none. He also allowed a solo homer in the fourth inning to losing pitcher Jensen.

Coon, who was four for four with two doubles, started the rally in the 10th with a lined shot into the right-center gap. He advanced to third on a passed ball before scoring on the sacrifice fly.  Coon also scored in the fifth after doubling, stealing third and scoring on a wild throw by the Lacey catcher.  Gebler, who now has 22 career wins, drove in the first run for South (4-4, 2-3) with an RBI single in the third inning.

McGee, who threw a seven inning no-hitter last week, did not allow a hit through the first three innings against the Lions.
